Moving into a new house is a great feeling. It marks a new beginning, a new chapter in our lives. So, to make it more comforting here is a list of appliances that is going to make your every day easier. After all, we cannot live without them.
- Gas/Electric Stove:
One of the first and most important appliances that will be required while moving to a new house is a gas/electric stove. Since food forms an essential requirement for surviving, it will be primarily required to prepare meals post shifting. Apart from this, one will also require microwave oven, OTG grill, toaster, etc for preparing specific meals.
- Fan:
Whether you are moving to a place that is well conditioned and ventilated or not, a fan will always come in handy. It may sound like, it is not that important. But it helps in circulating the air better and since it doesn’t cost much, there is no harm in having one in the house. The choice is yours, either a ceiling fan or a table fan.
- Water heater:
Bathing in warm water helps the skin pores to open up and breathe better. So, make this your top priority while moving to your new house. It will also help you to relax.
- Vacuum Cleaner:
When you move in, the house needs cleaning or a vacuum at least. Vacuum cleaner sucks in all the dust and gives a better cleaning than actually sweeping the floor with a broom. It also makes the place look fresh, and is easy to use. If you have a toddler or an infant with you, it is better you vacuum the place as they are more prone to dust allergies than the grown-ups.
- Television:
In present day scenario, a television is one of the most essential appliances in any household. Kids can watch cartoons while the adults are busy arranging the furniture, machinery, and equipment and setting up their new home. They can chill at the end of the day after strenuous work. The elders in the family can spend their time watching serials on T.V.
- Cookware & Storage:
The new house must have proper cutlery and cooking utensils. There must a frying pan, pressure cooker, few bowls, storage containers, oil dispenser, spoons, and plates, cutting board, knife, some tissues and ladles. Only if you have the cookware, you can cook a perfect meal. Maybe the first few days we can manage with a restaurant-cooked meal, but eventually, you’ll need these basic items not to starve and have a well-cooked home-style meal.
- Washing Machine:
These IFB washing machines save us a great deal of time and complete the work in under an hour. Since they also have dryers, we need not bother to dry them under the fan or in the terrace. 8 Refrigerator/Fridge:
This is another commendable invention of mankind. We buy vegetables for four days and stock them in our fridge which keeps it fresh until it is being kept inside it. Hence, this forms the second most important appliance to be in a new home.
